Duties
The following will be a plumber’s main duties:
- installs plumbing equipment and systems (such as drinking fountains and water heaters) to provide improved and/or upgraded capabilities.
- Determine the root causes of issues and/or malfunctions in irrigation and plumbing systems to determine what needs to be replaced or repaired.
- fabricates equipment parts to satisfy specific requirements and/or swap out parts that aren’t available.
- examines structures and facilities to determine their state, advising preventive maintenance and identifying any repairs that are required.
- Request supplies and equipment to keep track of inventory and guarantee that the things needed to finish the required installation and/or repair are available.
- Fix any leaks or clogged drains.
- carry out any additional tasks that the facilities supervisor assigns you.
