Emergency medical services, waste and environmental management, occupational health and safety both domestically and abroad, and medical supply services are all provided by Tindwa Medical and Health Service, a locally registered business. The organization is currently seeking a self-motivated, dedicated, and results-driven Waste and Environmental Manager to work in the Waste and Environmental department.

Required Qualifications

1. Managerial skills
2. At least three years working experience in the field of managerial position
3. Experience working in waste management will be added advantage
4. Minimal qualification Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science and Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health Sciences, Public Health Management or any related field
5. Must be fluent in writing and speaking English language
6. Must have computer skills
7. Applicants should have a high level of discipline, communicative and interpersonal skills, analytical, innovative problem-solving skills and time-managing skills

Responsibilities

1. Perform evaluations and report all effect of our operations at site
2. Implement all company procedures, policies, guidelines and plans at the plant
3. Manage statutory Compliance for all operations
4. Overseeing collection, transportation and disposal of waste, to ensure its efficiency and prevent contamination – of air, land or water.
5. Ensuring that health, safety, and security rules are followed.
6. Formulating disposal methods and developing new approach/methods on waste management
7. Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service.
8. Supervising team and providing additional training and coaching as needed to ensure everyone is performing their job properly
9. Coordinate and supervise effectively all disposal activities at site
10. Liaise with relevant bodies such as local authorities, public bodies and competent bodies
11. Negotiate waste and environmental service agreements and manage associated costs and revenues
12. Set organizational sustainability targets, developing plans to meet those targets and oversee their delivery.
