Job title: Accountants (2 positions)

Location: Dar es salaam

Purpose of the position 

Supporting the finance department, head of accounts and the management by completing the regular accounting  tasks of the Company.

Qualification and Experience 

1. Computer literacy. (proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
2. High knowledge of IT will be an added advantage
3. Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
4. 3 years of experience in finance and taxation
5. Not more than 45 years of age
6. Ability to write and speak English
7. Good communication skills

Job description 

1. Analyze on a monthly basis chargeable and non-chargeable time in the Company.
2.  Update accounts receivable and payable lists and conduct debtors and creditors age analyses.
3. Compute all relevant taxes, prepare and file tax returns to ensure compliance with all statutory authorities.
4. Prepare, examine payroll, financial statements and other financial reports for accuracy, completeness and  conformance to reporting standards. 
5. Register new employees with NSSF benefits. And Prepare Monthly TRA, NSSF, WCF and other statutory  returns 
6. Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts and finance documentation and keep track of creditors and  debtors 
7. Calculate provisional tax and revise as necessary, maintain finance files and assist audits
8. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. 
9. Carry out financial analysis of the company operations to inform decisions. 
10. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic management reports that compare budgeted  costs to actual costs and variances. 
11. Compute, make payment and submit all relevant statutory returns.
