The Organisation
Plan International is an independent humanitarian and development organization that promotes females’ equality and children’s rights. We acknowledge that poverty, violence, exclusion, and discrimination frequently stifle children’s potential and strength. And the people most impacted are girls.
By addressing the underlying causes of the difficulties that females and vulnerable children encounter, we work toward a just world in collaboration with kids, youth, supporters, and partners. From infancy until adulthood, we uphold children’s rights and give them the tools they need to face and overcome hardships and crises. We use our network, expertise, and knowledge to influence practice and policy changes at the local, national, and international levels.
For over 85 years, we have rallied other determined optimists to transform the lives of all children in more than 80 countries.
We won’t stop until we are all equal.
